Proposed Itinerary - March 8 to 10, 2026

Day 1 – Sunday, March 8, 2026 | Rabat

• 11:25 - Arrival at Rabat Airport at 11:25

– The Jewish Mellah, to discover historic Jewish homes, streets, and community heritage.
– The Rabbi Shalom Zaoui Synagogue, located inside the Mellah near Bab Diouana and the old Medina walls; it is the main remaining Jewish place of worship in Rabat

• Visit the Kasbah of the Oudayas and stroll through its charming streets.

Day 2 – Monday, March 9, 2026 | Meknes – Atlas Mountains

• Meknes 

• Visit the Old Mellah, Slat L’Mellah Synagogue, and the Jewish Cemetery, including:
– The kever of Rabbi David Benmidan
– The kever of Rabbi ‘Umar El-Kahen

• Ifrane & Middle Atlas

 A scenic journey through cedar forests and Berber villages, offering a refreshing natural contrast. 

Day 3 – Tuesday, March 10, 2026 | Fez 

• Ibn Danan Synagogue, Synagogue Ben Saadoun, 

• Explore the Tomb of Lalla Solika (Sol HaTzadika), a symbol of Jewish faith and sacrifice.

• Walk through the Jewish Quarter (Mellah) to see historic Jewish homes and streets, while learning about the community’s heritage.
